Christmas Day
We had such a blast with Riley on Christmas. Christmas Eve was alot of fun, looking at lights and then home to open a gift, spread the magic reindeer food on the lawn....and also leave a carrot and water bowl. Then there is milk and cookies for Santa as well as leaving his magic key on the door. Riley loved every minute of it. He told us he needed to go to bed early so Santa could come. How sweet!
Christmas Day, Riley couldnt get out of bed fast enough to see what Santa left him! His expression was priceless. He did get his "Bumblebee" like he asked for and he was thrilled. He also got the GeoTrax CARS Radiator Springs set as well as a few other things, but those were the highlights of his morning. He tore through all his gifts with a huge smile on his face, a hug for quite a bit of things, even clothes. He is so appreciative of everything he gets. We must have done something right!
Once, Riley found out he got to open more presents at Nana & Papas, he couldnt wait to get out the door. Santa even left the grandkids gifts there! They sure are spoiled. LOL! Riley was thrilled to get a brand new big boy bike and a new scooter from Santa over there. After our gift exchange over there, the rest of the family started showing up. It was one of the best Christmases I can remember. We all had a great time!
For some reason this year was especially hard for me missing Brandon. He is 17 years old now and I just couldnt get him off my mind. I know he would have had a great time over at Mom and Dads house with the rest of the entire family. I sure hope he had a great Christmas.
