Midnight Snack......

I kick myself for not taking better notes, or keeping up with this darn blog better......since now I don't remember the date for this GREAT story. Well, atleast I think it is! One night Riley climbed out of his bed in the middle of the night. I am thinking it was the end of January sometime. I heard him and was wondering if he was coming into bed with us. I waited for him but he never came. So I got excited thinking what I actually heard was him just getting comfy in his own bed and going back to sleep. Then I started hearing other noises and I had to get up to check. What I found when I came down the hall was Riley sitting on the floor in front of our front door.......eating a bag of DORITOS! This was like 2am! I asking him what he was doing and he said "I am hungry Momma". OK! Well, this meant, he got up from his bed, wandered into the kitchen, CLIMBED up the counter and opened the cabinet to get out the bag of chips out. He was sitting in front of the door because we have little window in our door that lets in enough light from the street light outside. Smart kid! Too funny. So he had his little midnight snack, and I got him a cup of water and sent him on his way back to bed. Love it! Luckily for us midnight snacking didn't become a habit.
