Disneyland!

We finally made it to Disneyland! I say this like we have never been before. We were supposed to go for Rileys 3rd birthday but Mommy got really sick! Then we all got sick, Gramma was in the hospital and we just couldnt keep this house healthy. So, we finally made it at the end of March and Riley was SOOO excited. That was the best part. We were lucky enough to stay at the Disneyland Hotel for two nights as well. So much fun. Riley loved that. He called our room "our bedroom". We had a corner room that over looked Downtown Disney and we were able to view the fireworks from Disneyland right from our room. Saturday was our Disneyland day and Riley couldnt wait to get there. He really liked Its A Small World and going through Toon Town. I tell ya, there is nothing better than seeing things through a childs eyes. Everything you have ever experienced before is so different. So much better. I already cant wait to be able to take him again.......but then those of you that know me well, know that is nothing new. :)

We chose the HOTTEST day to be at Disneyland though. We decided to take a break and found some benches in the shade and had some lunch and cold drinks while Riley played with some birds through a fence (see picture). To all our surprise, Alice and Peter Pan came running out of the doors from the "behind the scenes" area and straight to Riley. He was shocked at first and not too sure what was happening but they were checking out the birds with him. I was lucky enough to capture this picture. How cool! We had a great day and like I said, cant wait to do it again. I sooo need passes!

Sunday we headed to California Adventure. The new Toy Story Ride was totally cool. Riley really liked that and was really good in those long lines. We also went to the Playhouse Disney Live and he really, really liked that one. So did Mommy too though. So cute watching all those kids getting so excited!
